Befriending Volunteer

The Bureau

Offer companionship to an older or isolated neighbour.

Companionship Regular Training Given

About this role

For many older or isolated people, a regular friendly visit is the highlight of their week. As a Befriender you'll be matched with someone nearby for a weekly chat, over a cuppa, on a short walk, or by phone. Full training, support and expenses are provided.
